Kelly and Garrett

(*Okay, first off, I have NO idea why the blog sizes are all funky – I’m having major technical difficulty – so bear with me on the really small horizontals, and very large verticals!! yikes)

Okay….. now on to our regularly scheduled programming……

Most times at an engagement shoot, I have to coerce my clients into relaxing, into forgetting that I’m there and to just be themselves. Well, all that went out a 200 story window, because when these two are together, nothing else seems to matter. Being the hopeless romantic, my heart just pitter-patters when I see such true signs of affection and trust.

Kelly and Garrett are one of my 2009 weddings in Sacramento, and it almost seems too far away! I flew in for the weekend and we spent several hours just wandering around and I think I was having so much fun knowing that I wouldn’t see them for awhile that I just plain wore them out… “How about over here guys…. just one more picture here……ooh, ooh, I like that wall!” and then finally, “Oh, okay guys, it’s dark, I guess I should let you go home!” :)

Garrett is a pitcher, and surprised Kelly with their proposal on the baseball field, so it seemed only fitting that we headed out the mound for a few shots. Again, like I said, they weren’t just pretending I wasn’t there – I truly wasn’t! ;)

Here you go guys, I honestly can’t wait until next June!
