My lovely friend, Laurel McConnell, has been hard at work with five other great ladies, to do something great for the Seattle community. Their brainchild, Get Hitched – Give Hope, is Seattle’s first non-profit organization aimed at brides & grooms as well as vendors in the wedding industry that is dedicated to raise money for great causes!!

Date: October 23rd starting at 5pm at the newly renovated Arctic Club Hotel located at 700 3rd Ave. at Cherry St., Seattle, WA 98104

Details: Get gorgeous goods while giving back! Top notch vendors and businesses have donated some great items that are useful for your wedding (and most can be used by anyone, so drag your moms and co-workers over too!). There will be drinks, appetizers, auctions, & raffles. Put on your cocktail attire, and come out to help support a good cause!

The Featured Charity: The Making Memories Foundation. The foundation grants wishes to stage 4 breast cancer patients. The goal is to be able to raise enough money to grant 12 wishes – minimum!! Which means we need to help Laurel and crew raise at least $50k. I know Seattle – and I know it’s an amazing community -so there is no reason why we shouldn’t be able to raise enough!!!

I’ve got my tickets purchased, and pulling out the cocktail dress to help support this great cause. Not to mention, Seattle’s leading wedding vendors and fantastics brides will be there, so it will be a fabulous night for brides and photographers a like.
